"Product of Environment"

Every artist is one, I am no exception. I grew up in a suburban area outside of Los Angeles, I feel my work reflects the melting pot of artistic styles and influences in the Southern California area. I focus on color and a stylized form above all else. I believe in the moment, and attempting to capture or contain that moment. The process and act of painting is more important to me than the end result. There are never specific stories or a message behind my work. I want the viewers to have an opinion or create a feeling while viewing my work without my help.
