"Process as Content"

I try to celebrate art through life and life through art. I celebrate this using color, expression, and external energies or forces outside my control, like music, love, rhythm, and nature. I am in love with process, therefore my art is process oriented. The end result is just a snapshot of the journey I take each time I approach a canvas. I want viewers to feel something I may never feel or know, I want to them to feel that a paint mark might better explain feelings than words can, therefore my work contains a lot of raw feeling, my mood directly affects the colors and the mark making seen on the canvas, thus, my paintings can be both abstract and representational because colors mean something to everyone, they trigger a feeling or a memory. I try to use colors as language.....
